Boundary railings can take many forms and fulfil many functions.
From the simplest of vertical bars to bow tops, infill twists to scrolls, period railing with finialed infilling and modern embedded infill design features, the provision of boundary railing can provide a property with status and security and define boundary lines.
The diversity of designs within this category of railings make it impossible to illustrate the fill product range.
Over many years Cole ironcraft have provided all types and styles of boundary railings in galvanised, painted and powder coated finishes to the building and construction industry, local authorities and the private sector.
Most railing designs can be manufactured to rakes, radiused, stepped and nonstandard length panels can be provided and matching single or double gates with hanging posts or columns are also available.
To accommodate the wide variety of site conditions, railings can be manufactured with extended posts for concreting in or grouting into pockets. Alternatively, a baseplate fixing for bolting to walls or foundation pads can be used. Backstays may be added for additional stability for taller railings.
Although boundary railing and gates can be provided with traditional cast iron finial heads to a variety of designs, we recommend that drop forged steel railing heads are used as these are more resistant to vandalism.
Drop forged steel railing heads are available in a number of standard designs and, where sufficient quantities are involved, special designs may be produced.
In addition to the supply of boundary railings and gates we are pleased to offer an erection service carried out by one of our own experienced installation teams.
Quality and service is offered as standard on all products. We shall be pleased to quote for your requirements.
