With the introduction of the Clearview and Sureguard ranges of pedestrian guardrails we offer the designer the opportunity to incorporate all permutations of high visibility and vision gap variants that may be required in individual site locations.
| Throughout the Clearview and Sureguard range a uniformity of design is retained, without detriment to performance or flexibility. See and Be Seen
| Pedestrian Guardrail A pedestrian guardrail with normal straight line infill bars has no vision through the panel at angles of less than 7° to the line of the railing. This angle can often be less from the driving position of a vehicle travelling adjacent to the railing. High visibility and vision gap variants
| | | | Clearview
Our Clearview high visibility guardrails are configured to maximise panel transparency over the widest possible range of viewing angles and across the full area of infill bars. This high visibility guardrail incorporates the staggered infill bar configuration for maximum transparency. The panel and post construction offers simple site assembly with the minimum number of component parts yet retaining flexibility of site lay-out. | Constructed in standard 2M long x 1M high panels with rectangular hollow section posts and rails and circular staggered infill bars. Posts are extended for concreting in but an be supplied with base plates if required. Panels of non-standard lengths, gradients and radii together with matching gates and removable panels are available to order. | | | | Clearview Type 1 & 3
Panels are supplied with or without a vision gap as required, are designed to meet the requirements of BS7818 : 1995 and are available in all classes as defined in BS7818 : 1995. Guardrails are configured to maximise panel transparency
Clearview Type 2 & 4
Clearview type 2 guardrails offer all the benefits of the type 1 with the staggered infill bar configuration but include a panel and separate post construction with concealed top rail spigot joints. This allows panels to be replaced when necessary without disturbing adjacent posts. | SureguardThe Sureguard range of pedestrian guardrails are similar in design and construction to their counterparts in the Clearview range except that the vertical bar infilling is of the normal straight line configuration. Ornamented guardrails soften the visual impact
|
| | | There are many towns and cities of historic or architectural interest where guardrail control of pedestrians is required in aesthetically sensitive areas. By the use of ornamented guardrails much can be done to soften their visual impact and assist the designer in harmonising the installation with the surrounding area. | Ornamental Range The specifications of both Clearview and Sureguard can be applied to the ornamental range whilst retaining compliance with BS 7818 : 1995, the design possibilities are many and we shall be pleased to discuss individual requirements. harmonising the installation with the surrounding area | | | | |
